Visiting the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove: a guest's guide

One of the best things about staying at Vinco HOTEL is how close you are to the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the last remaining primary high forests in southern Nigeria.

Go early in the morning, when the air is cool and the forest is quiet. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and take your time with the sculptures and shrines along the river.

Local guides at the entrance share the history and stories of the Grove. If you'd like, our receptionist can help arrange one before you set out.

After your walk, come back to the hotel for a swim and a cold drink — the perfect end to a morning of discovery.
